Horsin Around on the Ground!
Take a break from the anxieties of the day and discover horses. | 1 hr
We are closely following all CDC and Local, State and Federal guidelines and updates related to COVID-19, and encourage you to do the same. However, until further notice, we also believe that horses and the farm are a reasonable outlet for our local friends and family to turn to for respite.
We are asking for you to adhere to the following guidelines to keep this safe for our family and the community before signing up to come. Sessions will be in hour long increments, with approximate 50 minutes of hands on horse time including, but not limited to grooming, ground work with ongoing instruction. We will schedule with 30 minute spaces between each session, so it will be important that each one starts and ends timely to allow us to clean in between, and so that families do not overlap.
CDC Resources can be found at: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/prepare/get-your-household-ready-for-COVID-19.html Local and National news are the best sources for updates from the government.

- Do not come if you are sick, or have been exposed to a sick person of any kind of illness within 72 hours. If you live with a sick person, are a sick person or were around anyone sick in any aspect of your life.
- If you are over 60 or in an at risk group, please stay home.
- Be proactive and take temperatures regularly, and use alcohol to wipe off between each person and temperature taken. - We will be practicing social distancing (keeping a minimum of 6-8 feet) between us.
- Be conscious of your personal awareness and travel outside of Henry County for the last two weeks. If you travel frequently outside of the county or state, take that into consideration for your family and your community. You should be aware I am currently planning on making one trip to Louisville once a week to check in with my employer, but do not make any other stops. Weigh your tolerance for exposure and risk, if your tolerance is low, stay home.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth. Also be aware if you have allergies to horse dander, dust or other things, and plan accordingly. Anti-bacterial wipes and hand sanitizer will be available.
